Nevada Health Link says the average proposed rate change for the individual market on NevadaHealthLink.com is a decrease of .4 percent for 2019.
"Nevada Health Link consumers will find the same comprehensive benefits at a lower cost than in plan year 2018," said Silver State Health Insurance Executive Director Heather Korbulic. "Consumers can expect to find low cost and even no-cost plans."
Based on the rate submissions the Division of Insurance has received, there will be two insurance carriers offering plans on NevadaHealthLink.com providing up to 15 individual health plans for consumers to choose from.
On the exchange, Health Plan of Nevada and Silver Summit Health Plan will be enrolling consumers November 1 through December 15. Rates are displayed by age and county for nonsmokers. The search results are displayed and then sortable by plan name, carrier, metal tier, and whether the product is offered on or off the exchange.
"The approved rates for next year are incredibly good news for consumers as the rates have remained consistent for next year. This is a very good sign of market stability in Nevada," said Insurance Commissioner Barbara Richardson.
